No the average number of reviews for a game is about 90.
You're new here right. I'll just let you know how things work. First you look at the title and second maybe you read a few of the words underneath (though this isn't necessary) then finally you post whatever fanboy rant you would post on the game regardless of the current topic. This is how 90% of comments work on N4G.
Under no circumstance should you ever assume that a poster has actually read the article!!!!
I haven't played the second one but what I wished they would have changed (seeing as the gameplay videos I've seen have it the same) is that I didn't like how the characters are so stiff and they can't jump. This puts them on a par with home avatars the only difference is these ones look better and shoot. The cover system also needs some work.
The commercial makes the game seem like a Michael Bay production. So I can see why some wouldn't like the commercial. Personally, I thought it is one of the better commercials for a game.
I am interested to hear more about the training mode but I guess I can just wait until tomorrow to try it out.
The lag may be due to the site where they were hosting the trial not having a high enough bandwidth to accomadate 128 PS3's.
Adding PS2 games to the PS3 would do that more so. Bringing PS2 BC back and eliminating the PS2 would instigate a migration.
Maybe they are planning to release it on blu-ray remastered.
I don't know if a lot of people want them but I want Intelligent Qube and Poy Poy. Remakes would be better though.
It will probably settle at a score between 90 and 94. One more score of 90/100 will drop it to an average of 93. If you look at other games IGN usually gives out scores that are in the upper 75% of reviews (that is 75% of the reviews will be below the score that IGN gives). IGN gave it a 95 so the average will be below this but not too much further because I expect there to be lots of 90/100 scores. That being said anything over a 90 is in must buy territory.
Yeah giving a review of the graphics/sound when it is obvious (i.e. you read the intro on the beta) that the betas graphics/sound would not be representative of the final release. Which is obvious. The download was under 2 Gb that aren't going to include the high res textures and the uncompressed sound with a size that small. Also giving a review on only part of the game is also full of fail.
Yeah and you have to be pretty stupid to not do the objectives. Each kill/assist gets you double points when based on the objective.
Yeah if there is a Review I expect it to cover all aspects of the game. I want to know about the training modes and the different gameplay types. The beta only let you play 2 of the gameplay types. As someone mentioned above this wreaks of fanboy.
I think MAG is just so they can get their feet wet with the PS3, just like infamous was. You will probably see a new SOCOM next as well as a new sly before you see sequels to these games.
Half a game? To get to the first level of prestige in this game takes about 50 hours. To me that is more than I got out of Bayonetta, darksiders, mass effect, assassin's creed 1 & 2 and from what I hear that is more than you'll get out of mass effect 2 even if you play through it twice.
Level 60 is where the reviewers need to get to to truely give the game a proper review. level 10 is where is gets really fun.
12 vs 12 is no war simulator. That is like a paint ball simulator.
The reviewers need to level up to level 60 to be the supreme commander which takes about 50 hours.
I also forgot to say you talk about withholding reviews. Why does ME2 only have 5 reviews 2 days before the game releases? I would say that is with holding reviews.
Really here's a link where fanboys go off about Too Human, Gears 2 and Fable 2 making the xbox the best system of the year. They also say that Too human is GOTY. In the same year PS3 had LBP, MGS4, Resistance 2 and VC, just for reference.
